Renovation of an existing beach house which included replacing windows, roofing, siding and decking due to deterioration from the weather. The rooftop observation deck was created to maximize views to the water. The three pergolas were repetitive cubes to define three deferent exterior functions. Additionally they are meant to provide privacy through foliage and canvas shades. The materials for the house are meant to blend with the natural and casual expression of the surrounding dunes.
