JAISALMER, INDIA Constructed with hand cut local sandstone, the Girls’ School and Womens Center will address the need to educate girls and empower women from the neighboring villages in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The oval forms were employed to reflect the curvilinear shapes of the local forts and also universal symbols of female strength.
TRIBECA, NY Complete renovation and design of future penthouse addition to existing townhouse. Scope of work to include a new kitchen, baths, living spaces and roof garden. Design to incorporate existing industrial features, structural elements and architectural artifacts.
LONG ISLAND, NY Design of 6,000 sq. ft. new house, pool and pool house within an environmentally sensitive beachfront and wetlands area. The house is designed in natural materials with simple cedar and shingle structures connected by copper clad transitions. An artificial dune both masks the septic mound and enforces the idea that the house rises out of the natural landscape.

The firm's role also included the design and construction management of the exterior facade restoration and a new Landmarks approved storefront.
DHUN, INDIA The design concept for the Dhun project is based on the sacred Lotus flower, which closes at night, submerges in water and opens in the morning. The Lotus is the ultimate symbol of creativity and beauty triumphing over darkness—the overriding theme of the Dhun project. The newly designed spaces in the existing building, the Imaginarium, reference the curved shapes of the Lotus petals.

Construction and interior layout to accommodate the modern and flexible lifestyle of adults and children in the same space. Extensive storage was built to contain children's toys, a novelist's books and a music executive's cd collection and and upright piano.

ST ANN'S CHURCH OF THE MORRISANA This project included the construction of flexible classrooms and a library for an after school program for underprivileged children. The design incorporated oversized sliding storefront panels to create a variety of different size gathering spaces within one communal space. The materials had to be durable and inexpensive to meet the budget and to accommodated the type of future use for the space.
TRIBECA, NY Design of a rooftop garden, including an elaborate trellis and pergola design. Waterproofing issues were of particular concern, as well as planter and paving structural loads.
NEW YORK, NY ENTRY
INDIA The Coffee lounge was conceived as a space for inter connectivity. All the materials are sustainable and the layout is meant to encourage collaboration and inspire creativity. It is s renovation within a traditional Indian Havelli.
SOHO, NY Design of 2,000 sq. ft. loft from a completely raw space. A "functional wall" was created along one side of the 14' high ceilinged space to house the bathrooms, laundry room and kitchen below and extra storage above.
